PRINCESS Anne is planning to install a permanent memorial to much-loved teenager Dan Brookman on her Gatcombe estate, after he died following a quad bike accident there seven months ago.
The 19-year-old, who lived with his parents Ruth and Jon in West Kington, near Chippenham, was working on the estate when the tragedy occurred.
His book of memories included a comment from Princess Anne's son Peter Phillips, who described Dan as "living life to the full". Dan's friends from Malmesbury Young Farmers are to pushing a battered car 64 miles from Malmesbury to Weston-super-Mare to raise charity cash.
