A CARTOONIST whose work has appeared in Private Eye and Playboy has designed a calendar with a difference to raise money for Dorothy House Hospice.
Sally Artz has designed a dozen witty cartoon sketches for the Alternative Dorothy House calendar with all proceeds going to the Winsley hospice.
The cartoonist studied at St Martin's School of Art in London and is now based in Bath.
Her first cartoon sold when she was 19-years-old and she has since worked for publications including Reader's Digest, The Spectator and Punch.
The idea for the alternative calendar was thought-up by the Trowbridge and Melksham Friends of Dorothy House.
An official 2006 calendar features 12 photographs of the area served by the hospice.
The alternative calendar is priced at £4 and can be bought at the hospice in Winsley or it's shop in Argyle Street, Bath.
