MR TOAD and his famous motorcar made an appearance in Bradford on Avon as part of the town's art festival.
The character from Kenneth Grahame's novel The Wind in the Willows was at the final event of the Bradford on Avon Arts Festival.
Scenes from the book were played out as part of a theatrical walk through the town, starting at Packhorse Bridge in Barton Farm.
Brian Popay, from the Natural Theatre Company in Bath, played Mr Toad.
Onlookers saw the character being driven in his vintage car along the river.
Afterwards, there was a picnic for 120 people.
