Corsham on top in derby

CORSHAM under nines gained revenge for an earlier season defeat when they travelled to Wootton Bassett on Sunday.
Corsham's bigger players ran out 4-1 and 5-1 winners in the two games.
They came up against some strong tackling from their Bassett hosts but it was not enough to prevent them taking their tally for the season to 78, with 12 tries conceded.
Corsham's try-scorers were Jacob Unwin, Sam Coombs, Jack Beazer, Alex Twigg, Will Chivers and Hugo Hudson-Wall.
At under 11 level Bassett were victorious by two tries to nil.
The under 12 hosts battled hard, but Corsham ran out 6-0 winners.
