WILTS, JAN & FEB: AN exhibition chronicling three centuries of royal celebrations and visits to Wiltshire is coming to Trowbridge and Bradford on Avon libraries, and organisers hope visitors can help them solve some mysteries.
The touring exhibition, launched in October, gives an insight into how royal jubilees and coronations have been celebrated from Victorian times to the present day, but some of the people and locations in the photographs remain unidentified and archivists are keen to find out more about them.
One mystery image shows Queen Mary, the wife of King George V, on a visit to a Wiltshire factory during World War One. Archivists are trying to identify the factory and the man accompanying Queen Mary.
The exhibition will be at Trowbridge library from January 3-31, and at Bradford on Avon library throughout February.
