Club keen to forge new links

DEVIZES rugby club will kick start preparations for another season with the annual meeting in the Devizes Sports Club on June 20.
Pre-season training starts with a players' meeting at 7.15pm on Thursday July 4, at the Sports Club, followed by a fun session. Serious training starts from the July 16 on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Players will need to make a huge commitment if the club is to equal or even improve on the successes of last season
The club is anxious to improve the liaison with local schools as well as further integrating the senior and junior sections of the club.
Of course such initiatives put pressure on a limited number of people so the club would welcome volunteers to spend a little time each week and help implement various schemes.
