A CHIPPENHAM clothing and shoe firm is set to take on new staff after moving to a new 15,000 sq ft warehouse.
The Chatham Clothing Company has moved from Westpoint, on Chippenham's Bumper's Farm Industrial Estate, to Prospect West on the same estate.
It supplies clothing and shoes to marine centres and high street stores all over Europe, including the John Lewis Group.
Its sports clothing has been worn by famous names, including world indoor bowls champion Tony Alcock.
Four new staff were recruited in July. The company is also employing a merchandising executive within the next few weeks and more opportunities are expected in the future.
Brian James, the firm's founder and managing director, says that in the last year, Chatham, formerly known as Pelham Shoes, has grown from seven to 13 staff.
Annual turnover is £3.5m and Mr James said he expects revenue to nearly double over the next four years.
"It has suddenly switched to overdrive," he said.
The new warehouse will house extra stock.
