SANDWICH manufacturer Uniq, based in Devizes, is urging Dyson workers who are being made redundant to apply for jobs with the company.
Uniq, based on the Hopton Industrial Estate, has secured a contract with supermarket giant Safeway and as a result has created 25 new posts, predominantly on its production line.
Uniq's operations manager, Graham Christy, said: "I am sure there are a lot of people at Dyson worried about finding new jobs and we would be delighted to hear from them.
"We are looking for new production workers in particular for our 6am to 2pm shift which proves popular with mums looking to return to work.
"We are also looking for mechanically-minded people to join our team of skilled machine minders and we also have vacancies in our quality assurance department."
Since last autumn Uniq, which was formerly Toft Foods, has invested in the region of £1m on improving the Devizes factory by installing new walls, floors and conveyor belts.
Anyone interested in applying for a job should contact the personnel department on (01380) 728846.
