Mother denies murder

The case was continuing at Winchester Crown Court this week of Angela Cannings (38) who denies two charges of murdering two of her children in separate incidents eight years apart.
Jason Cannings wsa just seven weeks old when he died in 1991 and Matthew Cannings died in 1999 aged four months.
The hearing this week centred on medical evidence from a succession of doctors, nurses and consultants who treated the children and from a health visitor and a neighbour.
The case is continuing.
