From the Amesbury Journal, first published Thursday 28th Feb 2002.
A team of aircraft builders in Amesbury has completed a challenge to build a microlight aircraft in just 360 hours.
The microlight was built from scratch at Reality Aircraft in their premises on the Amesbury business park, in London Road.
The challenge was part of a worldwide internet project called BBC 360, a new website that allows communities and individuals to highlight humanitarian, natural and environmental problems and make suggestions on how they can be solved.
Many of the efforts will then be filmed by pilot and television producer Richard Creasey, who is the son of late bestselling crime and thriller writer John Creasey, who lived near Salisbury.
Mr Creasey (57), whose father lived at New Hall, Bodenham, co-ordinated the challenge and has plans to fly the yellow-coloured microlight all over the world, including over the North Pole.
