THE Kitchen and Bathroom Collection of Salisbury is expanding its workshops at Old Sarum in response to growing demand.
The company, which designs and installs kitchens, bathrooms and bedrooms, will expand into Unit 3 on the Hurricane Way industrial estate, providing a further 2,000 square feet of workshops.
It will employ four craftsmen at the new workshop, as well as a team of 12 kitchen and bathroom fitters.
The company will retain its showroom premises at Nelson Road, near the Castle Street roundabout in Salisbury.
The Kitchen and Bathroom Collection won a prestigious UK Kitchen Industry Showroom of the Year Award in 1998.
Keith Sutcliffe, who founded the company in 1986, says the expansion is essential to meet demand for the company's popular own-brand Bench Marque range of kitchen furniture.
"This move is a logical step in our development," he said.
"As our reputation has grown the number of customers visiting our showrooms has multiplied and so has demand for Bench Marque furniture.
"These new workshops will help us meet the demand from our customers and give us the facility to design and make special features for all our products."
