Growing firm takes stock

From the Swindon Advertiser, first published Thursday 3rd May 2001.

A THRIVING Sherston company is pioneering a revolutionary new internet ordering system.

The Complete Product Company, based at Pinkney Park near Sherston, has invented the e-docs system which allows its clients to order stock from anywhere in the world and have it sent to anywhere in the world.

CPC produces, packages and distributes CDs, documents and software for companies all over the world.

Business is booming, the company's workforce has gone from four to 12 in the last year. Managing director Kevin Assinder has seen his company grow from sharing an office back in 1995 to occupying the new 6,200 square foot purpose-built distribution centre it moved into eight weeks ago.

CPC says that because it produces documents and software as well as storing them, companies can cut storage costs, and simply order what they need when they need it. If the required item is not in stock, CPC will make it on demand.

"With E-docs we can offer our customers an innovative and cost effective way to manage their stock," said Mr Assinder. "They can manage their product without having to physically hold it.

"They can look at their stock from anywhere in the world, by logging on to our website and entering their password, and order it to anywhere in the world, with no need to worry about phone calls."

CPC's turnover has increased by 40 per cent a year over the last two years and has already gone up by 70 per cent this year.

Mr Assinder said: "We are a small growing company. E-docs is going to be hugely successful and we are hiring more people all the time."
