Staff at Aldbourne Nursing Home have been celebrating after gaining Investors in People accreditation for staff training and development.
"This achievement has been made possible by the hard work and commitment from the whole team at the nursing home, one of only a few to receive this award," said general manager Guy Montezuma.
"It has helped to bring the team together, raising morale and creating healthy competition in a working environment for the benefit of the residents.
"What we have is a fully committed staff and this is reflected in our gaining the IIP distinction.
"The nursing home, which opened in 1988, cares for 29 people, some with physical disabilities.
"We are very much part of Aldbourne village and enjoy the support of the Friends of Aldbourne Nursing Home, a group of volunteers who organise various activities.
"They too have played their part in helping us attain IIP."
The IIP award was presented by the Rev Geoffrey Gleed on behalf of the Wiltshire and Swindon TEC.
